The City of Long Beach, which is located 45 minutes from New York City and has a population of 35,000 people, has selected eMaint X3 CMMS to help manage maintenance activities throughout the multiple city departments. The city serves its community through 31 departments that oversee daily operations and activities. Within the city there is a tennis center, Skate Park, ice arena, boardwalk, recreation center, and three parks.
After conducting an evaluation and attending an online product demonstration, Paul Hudson, Superintendent of Buildings, chose eMaint X3 based on the ease of creating PMs, Work Orders, controlling inventory and tracking equipment for town departments including sanitation, recreation, roads and water/sewage. The City of Long Beach selected eMaint University’s Rapid Start Professional Services package as well as an unlimited requestors package that will allow 600 City workers to submit work requests to the maintenance team.
