We are pleased to announce an update of eMaint X3, rolling out on Tuesday, May 31st 2011.
This release of X3 includes enhancements and bug fixes to existing features within X3. Enhancements in this release:
- Data Import Tool - The ability to import data into your account is now available as a system feature. This tool is immediately available to administrators and can be released as a security option to other users in the account as well. It is highly recommended that you view the eMaint University tutorial for the Data Import tool found here.
- Sign-on/Sign-off labor charges in X3 Mobile - Now you can use a sign-on/sign-off feature on X3 Mobile to record your labor time. When you start work, now you can sign-on to the work order. When you're done, go back and sign-off. The application will record the total time for you in a labor charge!
- Email Request Enhancements - If you're utilizing the Email Request Module, you now have the ability to create workflows that fire when they arrive.
- Enhanced security for Labor and Parts Charges - You can now control if a user has access to Labor Charges or Parts Charges on a work order, rather than a single switch that controls both.
- Changing a Supplier during Requisition Approval - Now you can change a supplier when approving a requisition, rather than wait until it becomes a Purchase Order.
- Printing Purchase Orders/Requisitions supports global languages - You now have the ability to print Purchase Orders and Requisitions with characters other than standard English characters.
- Email Templates for Custom Tables - When creating custom related tables, you will now have the ability to create Workflow Email Templates for use on the new table.
- Bug Fix - Date picker drop down on charges -The month/year drop down for the date picker on the charges screen will now function as expected.
- Bug Fix - Use the same field name twice in reporting - If you have multiple tables joined to your report, you were not allowed to add the same field name twice (even if it was from seperate tables). This has been corrected.
- Bug Fix - Customize Form directs to wrong form - A fix was made that sometimes took you to the wrong customization screen when selecting "Customize Form."
- Bug Fix - Deleting an asset doesn't delete the related parts records - Fixed an issue where deleting an asset would not delete the related materials information.
- Bug Fix - 'Status' column in purchase orders tab not accurate - In the purchase orders tab file listing, the purchase order status was not always correctly showing the proper status. This was corrected.
